Hypersensitivity vasculitis (HV) is one of the most common types of vasculitis seen by allergologists. Vaseulitis is defined by blood ves-sel damage and the presence of inflammatory leukocytes in vessel walls. Vasculitides are categorized by the size of the blood vessels af-fected, i.e. small, medium and large vessel vasculitis. HV is a small ves-sel vasculitis.
